The ACE Brake
The ACE brake was created by the two most recent PRS Champions – Clay Blackketter, Austin Orgain and Tate Streater.
This muzzle brake was developed with the shooter in mind. With straight ports that are tilted forward, it reduces the blast that comes back to the shooter and directs more of the gas to the top ports that reduce muzzle rise.
The ACE Muzzle Brake also has indicator lines that allow you to have a solid reference for how much you rotate the brake to get the perfect recoil pattern. Once you have it found simply use the allen wrench to tighten the collar down onto the brake. Now you can torque your brake on and off and it will time to the same spot every time.
We have also machined a 3/8″ hex head into the end of the brake to ensure ease of installation and consistency every time you put it onto your rifle.
ACE Precision LLC
Anyone that knows us, knows that we would never put our name on something that we didn’t believe was the best option available. The idea behind the ACE brake was to have class leading recoil reduction without getting “beat up” by gases being blown back by angled ports. In testing many brakes during competition the biggest complaint we ever had was having headaches or feeling worn out from two days of shooting so we attacked the problem. After many different designs and rigorous testing we settled on what is now the ACE brake.
